Christmas Crack candy!


– Saltine crackers
– 2 sticks of butter
– 1 cup of brown sugar
– Chocolate chips
– M&M’s (optional)
– Almond bark (optional)


1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Line a cookie sheet with saltine crackers, ensuring they cover the entire sheet.

3. In a saucepan, melt 2 sticks of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar together, stirring until it becomes a caramel-like consistency.

4. Pour the caramel mixture over the saltine crackers, spreading it evenly.

5. Place the tray in the preheated oven for around 5 minutes.

6. After removing the tray from the oven, immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel layer. Allow the chocolate chips to melt, and then spread them evenly over the caramel.

7. Optionally, you can add M&M’s and white almond bark for extra flavor and decoration.

8. Refrigerate the tray until the candy is cold and firm.

9. Once it’s set, break the Christmas Crack candy into pieces and enjoy!
